Dame du Train or du Val
This chapel is called Notre Dame du Train or du Val and was built in the sixteenth century. It belongs to the Keradiou house of Rannorgad Manor and was restored in the eighteenth century. Rannorgad Manor is 0ne kilometer to the east. As visible a triumphal arch dated 1738 provides a harmonious entrance into the chapel with its twin chambered bell tower. Not to mention its ancient statues, its gargoyles and the renaissance portal at the side door.
Tinas and Ponci
The magnificent calvary cross bears the arms of the Kergadiou and the Moyne de Ranvlou’ch families as well as the names of the makers of the calvary cross. Namely, two Italians called Tinas and Ponci probably sculptors from the Royal Navy at Brest. In the southern direction of the chapel runs a sacred fountain with two washbasins and a “Pool-lin” in other words, a pool for soaking linen.
